Theatre in Museums

Working with NPO Museum Makers I developed 'Theatre in Museums'; a new programme of museum interpretation through theatre. Working with  project coordinator Laura Lewis we coordinated the commission of three new short plays by writer Teresa Burns to be performed promenade, around a newly refurbished museum. As director I worked with actors and the playwright to produce high quality and engaging plays for targeted demographics that used the beautiful old museum as an immersive theatrical setting. 

The project was highly successful in its pilot year 2017 and will continue with three new plays in 2018.
